Post by: Ahmad Ilyas on June 30, 2015, 01:04:18 PM
i have build a tricopter but the tilt mechanism is not so good ( its basically front wheel steering mount from rcDhamaka.com , if you remember i have post a article where can i find it in India )
i want to make the tilt mechanism of RcExplorer's tricopter v3
there are plans for it and i have even downloaded them but the problem is there is only a pdf which is opening no other file is opening and there is not even a picture in pdf
please help

Ahmed i would suggest you not to go with 3D printed parts on multirotors as they are brittle. Even if you want to go for ABS. Better idea would be to invest in a tough tilt from flitetest(it cost 20$ + shipping additional) plus they offer a replacement for free if you can break it in 2 years! i think that would be of the same cost unless you are planing to 3D print a lots of spares too.
Or you could find a suppier who could injection mould your design(tougher than 3D printed parts!)  :hatsoff:
