Hi guys , I am thinking about making my third quad , I am thinking about building my third quad as 450 size one , with the following electronics
4x avionic 850 kv quad motors
1x hobby wing 20 am 4 motor esc
1x 2200 mah 11.1 v battery
1x  orange rx fasst 8ch receiver

Both of my old quads have the kk2.0 board , but now I'm thinking about using the more advanced boards , need you guys to tell me which is better kk2.1 or multiwii 328p control board ?

Both the multiwii , nanowii and 328p are available in india with gps , my question is which is better ?

chintal

well its a matter of choice
nano wii has a support for
bluetooth telemetry, GPS, DSM2 satelite etc

while multi wii
has two sensors as an additional benifit
BMP085 Barometer
• HMC5883L Magnetomet
so it depends on ur need
if u dont wont to go for gps then go for multi wii
or looking for future addons like bluetooth or an oled display
then nanowii

From where to get that baro and magno meter from ? And what's its price ?

SideWinder

Nanowii does support gps but there isn't enough space in there to write the sketch. Some people have got it working but details are sketchy.
Multiwii 328p is much better because it has onboard barometer and magnetometer and more space, which is not there on nanowii or kk 2.0/1. It also supports gps.

I just moved from kk to multiwii, and the latter is more tunable and upgradable.
Altho nothing beats an APM, and you can upgrade it at any pace you want. No need to get everything at once.

chintal

well then my bad
i guess multiwii is you thing
but yeah apm is the best
easy to configure
u can attach it to any rc stuff that you have got

Thanks , but i will buy the multiwii 328p from edall hobby , does it have a slot for gps ?

sharank900

yes it supports gps but u cant connect directly .. u need to buy i2c gps module and connect gps via it to the 328p fc

devangflyer

@Sharank , according to the overall performance of the multiwii 328p and nanowii , what should I buy ?

sharank900

buy 328p fc its better ..... u require baro nd mag sensors which are additional cost if u buy nanowii

See description for both ..

I recommend 328p .. ( if u buy nanowii u shd buy sensors additionally )
