Wow.
That's nice.
MPU 6050 is a great sensor.
I am using it myself for my tricopter with an Arduino.

Hey pushpreet
Where did you buy the sensor from, I am considering to buy a cheap clone from ebay.

Hi All,

I just bought this kk 2.1 board, but don't know where to start, im a complete beginner in Multi rotors,i have good idea about RC electronics.
just a brief info on how to setup and calibrate the tricopter settings and is there any calibration needed for the accelerometer sensors, any essential info is always welcome.
can someone locate me a manual for this stuff. im trying to build a tricopter.
P.S: i didnt even started this board, is this self intuitive.

KK 2.1 & 2.0 FC's are almost identical, they only differ in gyro/accelerometer chip and different firmware but same functions as the 2.0 FC.
You can find the manual under the files tab on HK,( http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uploads/487588525X1235859X25.pdf ) and you can tune kk 2.1 by watching and reading info about kk 2.0 boards. Its almost identical.

---Yes the first thing you would need to do is calibrate accelerometer, which you can find under the main menu, instructions are displayed when you go ahead with calibration.
---Then select motor layout as required, connect motors and match direction of rotation of motors .
---Then go into mode settings and select Self-levelling is turned on/off by the AUX Channel and assign a channel on your TX. You are pretty much ready to fly.
---And then begins the vicious cycle of tuning, please watch videos on how to tune kk 2.0 FC,there are many out there.

This is no doubt a very good controller but i just wonder why dont we try the MWC 2.5SE which comes with Barometer i know there is programming required but if you have other module (like bluetooth and oled display) its really easy to tweak and change these values.

Last week i tried, for the very first time my hands on MWC 2.5 SE. At first it was bit confusing but later i was really amazed by the changes that you can do if you have a bluetooth module. Now i am waiting for the oled display which lets you to change many values and check other settings.

This is just my opinion
one stop for multirotor needs:

MWC 2.5 SE needs to be connected to computer for programming either wired or wireless, lacks a lcd screen too.  Think thats the only reason why KK is preferred over MWC. And by the time you add all other components it gets costly and lil complicated from a beginners point of view.

But its a good for intermediate flyers, more options to fiddle with.
