Hi i am completely new to this hobby. I already so much addicted to this. I want to build a quadcoptor. I did lot of research nd read many threads on building multicoptor and choosing accessories. After reading all this i got some knowledge about it. And i made a choice of part list for build my first quadcoptor. but confused if it works or not. Is everything perfect or not. So here is the my part list-
Frame- Obviously F450
Motor-  MT2213-935KV MultiStar Motor and Propeller Combo 10x4.5 CW/CCW ( http://www.hobbyking.com/mobile/viewproduct.asp?idproduct=43884)
Esc- Hobbyking 30A esc 3A Ubc. ( http://www.hobbyking.com/mobile/viewproduct.asp?idproduct=15205)
FC- MultiWii PRO Flight Controller w/ NEO-6M GPS Module. ( http://www.thehobbyshop.in/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_28&products_id=203&zenid=be1c64c0402dfe2951be8e19cf042cfa ).

RC- Turginy 9xr Pro.

Tx and Rx- FrSky DJT 2.4Ghz Combo Pack for JR w/ Telemetry Module & V8FR-II RX.

Battery- Turnigy nano-tech 4S 25~50C 6000mah.

Antena- FrSky 2.4G V8 Series 5db module Antenna ( http://www.hobbyking.com/mobile/viewproduct.asp?idproduct=16670 ).

Fpv- Sony super had ccd 600tvl ir sensetive.

Vtx and Rtx- havnt choice yet. Plz help me to choice i need cheap but better one.

This is all of my part list. Now help me to any more accessories needed? If needs then tell me all the requirement even small one.
Also help me by suggesting a good battery for long flight time and range. Hope  may help me soon. Thanks.

FPV transmitter receiver if you are using sony ccd 600tvl and fpv monitor.

Rathi

before all else, get a smaller battery for the start. dont take a 6000mah, try for something lower like a 3000-5000 mah.
Bolt 210
QJreaper 6"
taranis 9XD+
its either FPV or nothing.

is there any problem? Can u explain me?

Rathi

i am just saying that for the weight of the quad. Since u are new to quads, it will be lighter and easier to maintain and less costly if it needs to be replaced. (buy 2-3 batteries and a powerfull charger) And it will keep the quad a little underpowered so there is room for mistake. extra tip: buy lots of propellers, initially u will go through a lot of props, don't fly FPV from the start, get used to the quad then go for FPV.

ok thank u a lot. Is turnigy nano-tech 25~50C 4000mah is perfect or 3300? And plz explain me about the all small ingredients which is needed like zip tie, battery stripper. Tell me which more item is needed for build!

Balakrishna Reddy

If you are gonna buy a new battery better buy a 3000mah battery because you can compromise between flight times and weight and cost .Even if you crash it will not cost you much to replace it with new one. Because during crashes batteries are more prone to punctures which is not good. And a heavier quad is difficult to control and we have to adjust centre of mass many times with battery. Upon all these if you really want to have a 6000mah battery buy 2 3000mah batteries and put in parallel after you become an expert in flying.

Tips for beginner Multirotors builders:
1. Start small and progress step by step
2. Do not do anything without reading the complete manuals
3. Do not assume once you took the flight that you can start shooting videos using it. Every ounce you will add to the copter will change its tuning and its only that perfect combination that it will be stable.
4. Practice and clear your orientations in wide open fields before starting fly near people and property.
5. Lastly be extremely cautious about the safety and security where and how you fly. Know about the regulations.

Coming to get you started:
With 900+ kV at 10 inch prop is suggest not going above 3S. And 2200mah battery will last 7 - 8 mins if you're using tuned systems. Let the FPV system be the second stage as an upgrade after you get comfortable flying the basic system and learn about tuning.
For Frsky module I suggest you to buy XJT module to support later versions of receivers like X8R which comes with SBUS. This would help you in future when you complicate your system. The transmitter antenna will surely increase the range but I don't think you need it for a Multirotors as the basic range you will get easily upto 1.5km which is more than enough.

Post your ideas and people should be able to help you more.

All the best!

What is the difference between two FC except gps - http://www.quadkopters.com/product/flight-controllers/multiwii-aio-pro-v2-0/

The two flight controller are same. They use the  same firmware Multiwii. Only sensors (gyro ans accelerometer) are different, but they work same.
Now coming to another point. You should be aware by now that thehobbyshop.in is fraud. There are many posts mentioning it. Go through them if you are tempted to buy anything from them

The multiwii AIO in quadkopters is far more better than multiwiipro
multiwii AIO (quadcopters) use a better accelerometer and gyro combo(mou6050) and barometer(ms5611) is best upto now i feel whereas          multiwiipro(hobbyshop) uses old sensors in all forms. Better in all forms for a beginner is kk2.1.5 lcd because you can change many settings then and there only just bring your quad down and change whereas remaining FC's will need a pc only difference and comparing performance APM 2.5 is very stable compared to all suitable for aerial photography(i use it) and naze32/flip32 are recommended for racings. on quadkoptor store there is a apm 2.5 clone version. I have pc and good software knowledge. should i go for it?

ghoshatanu56

Apm requires a lot of  steps which can be overwhelming for a beginner. I would suggest you buy something cheaper as of now like the MWC lite (also on quadkopters.com).First get the hang of flying a quadcopter and then you buy apm. Ask other members for better suggestions. I have only watched apm setup on YouTube and there were too many. Also see the pm
