Hi!
Seniors and experienced flyers/pilots.

Did anybody try increasing range of FLYSKY CT6B BY providing 2.4Ghz radio booster available on eBay.com and banggood.
Is it good idea to apply booster than investing in a new radio for higher range.
Please suggest.
Thankx in advance.
Regards

Invest in a new transmitter...
CT6B lacks many things such as fail safe, easy programming, range, the gimbals are not good etc. so if you want to get better in this hobby then get fs i6 it's cheap and you will love and people say it is better than i6x...
If you want to invest more then go for trannis...

Remember tx are investment ...

Peace...

@riteshbrd
FlySky Th9x is also a good and hackable radio. You can also use FrSky radio modules. 9x default module is 8 channel flysky radio module. Many mods are available on net.
Always check "sale" section because sometimes, you can see someone who selling same product(with low cost but used product) which you want to buy.
Budget is everything in Rc Hobby.

Very important , Don't order transmitter overseas or you might lose all your money...

pnkyjs

@Mehul , right , but there are hundreds of folks ordering , and getting it, of course through some proven ways. If you order from Banggood and choose "india direct shipping" you will get it. If you add shipping you will get back all your money if anything happens.

It's not available with receiver,
I have to buy receiver separately?  or ct6b's will do?

Sorry to reply to an old thread but I have to ask how is the FS-i6 better than FS-i6x? I am wanting to buy FS-i6x thinking it was better as it was newer and had some technology that FS-i6 didnt have (SBUS? I dont really know Im new here).

Mehul Anand

@DubiousPilot it must have been a typing mistake.
Both tx are same, just i6x has different sticker and firmware.
The firmware of FS i6 can be upgraded to convert it into a 10 channel from six channel, then it would be the same.

DubiousPilot

Ok then I will buy the i6x as it only costs a little more and I am hoping it has minor improvements than its predecessor.
