+1 for 9xr pro it has plenty of room for upgrades and ad on features. You can install new firmwares also.

For the 9x you will have some flashing of firmware to do(Stock firmware is absolute crap). If you want to avoid those stuff go for 9XR or 9XR Pro. It runs on ER9x

Yes its best alternative. Later on when you want to upgrade you can.If you want to sell, RCindia is available. I dont think you feel such because its a very good tx as I heard about it
