Is there any range issue in flysky FS t6?

tushar50

If you can, get the flysky fs i6x- Best budget transmitter in my opinion.

Veekshith

Please suggest any genuine online websites where I can find FS i6x

tushar50

You can check on rchyper.com or quadkopters.com
Get the i6X version(with X) not the i6. Both are pretty much similar by the way ,also same price. The i6x is a bit better.

Veekshith

If there is choice bw avionic RCBi6 and FS i6x .
Which one would u suggest. as I'm new to this field I have no idea.

tushar50

Get the fs i6x. Much better. It is tried and tested by many people on internet.

Tnx a lot for replying to my doubts.

tushar50

It is out of stock on quadkopters.com
Get it from rchyper.com both the websites have same price. And get the i6x version, with the X. Good luck.

One more thing. The  fs i6 is only 6 channel while the fs i6x is 10 channel. So, the i6x is better.

Balakrishna Reddy

Yes i6X is better not just because of 10 channels but it also has got better processor on it which will aid for future development of the transmitter. I strongly recommend you to buy i6X if you can buy it.
Even i6 has custom firmwares for extending its channels but I suggest to go with i6X.

Can i6X be used for Quads and planes and helis?

The reason asking as the receiver looks diff its like a small chip board with 2 antennas!!!

I am too  bit confused before buying one...

vibranthobbies

i6x can be purchased with different receivers.
IA6b Receiver - Use it for Airplane. It is because the UBEC/SBEC in the ESC, connected to the receiver provides power to the receiver and servos and also throttle signal.

X6b Receiver for Quad.

x6bus is a wonderful receiver, for using on planes, it needs to be studied a bit, required cables are supplied for pwm connectivity, only thing to note is that the channel1 cable is given connected in the set which may be connected with the esc , therefore channel3 which is throttle needs to be connected to esc and swapped with the channel 1.  with some care only 5 cables are needed to provide control 3 servos , if servos are placed nearby in fuselage below the wing , and push rods are run to the control surfaces.

Can I use 35c 4200mAh lipo(2s) for 10A brushed ESC(costs 500 rs in Amazon) for rc car.
Pl reply

KALYANPRODHAN

Only you can use if your DC Motor current <8A. (to be in safe limit).
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Veekshith

The dc motor which I have was using 6v 600mAh Nicd batteries before.
I don't know it's peak current value

If the motor and esc can handle the voltage of the battery you are using, then you can use a battery of any capacity of that voltage. Now, talking about current draw, if the nicd battery you were using was working fine then this battery can handle that very easily.
The constant current that a battery can handle is given by,

Ah (not mah) x constant c rating of the battery.

Example- a 2200mah lipo battery with constant c rating of 25 C can handle current:
2.2 x 25 =55 amps.

Veekshith

Then can I use that 35 c 4200MAh battery..

tushar50

Yes, you can safely pull 55 amps from that battery. But since your esc is only 10 amps , if your motor pulls more than 10 amps it may burn your esc.

Veekshith

35*4.2 will be almost 147 amps right..
Can my 10 amp ESC handle that.
My motor was working Fyn with 6v 600mah Nicd .

tushar50

If your motor was fine with the nicd then it will surely be fine with this lipo.
An esc can handle any battery as long as it can handle it's voltage, the capacity and c rating of the battery has nothing to do with it.

This information will help me a lot thank you

I have used the FS-6T for a while.... it was ok initially but then there were a host of issues with the range... because of the Tx or the Rx I do not know.  Today i use it solely as my Tx for the simulator.  I have a Lipo in it and it works file for my sim needs.  I migrated to Hitec Optic 6 sport and now to Hitec Aurora 9.  Both these two sets have excellent reliability.... never had to think about the ranges....
Well I been into aeromodelling since I was in School....  and then been in the air for over 30 years.  Now looking to be back into aeromodelling full time...
