Almost 2 years in to hobby. To celebrate, gifted myself with a new Radio.
FrSky x9 lite ACCESS!

I was using a moded FlySky Fs-i6 and works well. However I wanted something sophisticated and feature rich such as telemetry and voice.
FrSky x9 lite was something that fitted my budget and available locally.
The one I bought came with a firmware version, that support ACCESS and ACCST(D16).

I bought a R-XSR (for a 3 inch GPS build) and XM+ (for whoop). Both came with ACCST(D16) firmware. But support ACCESS.

About the radio, it does not look premium. But looks decent quality.
Menu scroll wheel is bit tight. Not sure if its because new. knob is tight too.
Three position switches travel bit fast so tend to flip positions unknowingly.
Voice works well. Yet to to test telemetry and lua scripts.
Works with 2 18650 cells.
They also changed mini usb to micro usb. Thats good.
No rubber grip in the back. I liked that on qx7 very much.
I feel the build quality is lesser than qx7.
I had to adjust display brightness and contrast. stock settings made the display worse.
Comes with two gimbal protectors, but they don't fit well.

Fs-i6 and x6b is good enough for a beginner. Under 5k.
Where as frsky would be more than double.

Also between the Fs-i6 and fs-i9x which would you say is more suited for a beginner?
