Hey Guys,
I am using a 7ch R617Fs rx with my Futaba 10c to power my 20cc gasser. As i am limited with only 7 channels i have installed Y connector for my ailerons.
Now the issue is my ailerons are working fine with y connector on Ch1 but my Ch6/Ch7 is by default mixed with CH1 (Aile 1). I have tried hard. Please help to how to program dual ailerons with y connector and save CH6 for other use.
There should be no such mixing by default. Are you using a heli model by chance ?
Have you gone through your "PMIX" (programmable mixes) menus and "INH"ibited all of them ?
Did you try changing Basic Menu>Parameters>Type>Acrobatic?
In my both 10c its working normal ! means by selecting type to "Acrobatic" Ch6 and Ch7 are free from Ch1!!!!! If this doesn't work check mixing also !! probably you might have mixed earlier !!!
Hope this Helps!
If I'm reading it correctly - you are trying to achieve
dual aileron functionality with a Y connector ? - Both servos linked
to a single output on the receiver ??
If that is the case then there is no radio in the world that can
give you dual ailerons.
His aileron is fine with Y connectors... he just wants to remove some interaction between ch1 and ch6.
Or so I read :)
Start afresh! select one aileron (Since you are using Y) !! new model has no such mix enabled ab initio
Anwar Sir, you are right my both ailerons are working fine with y connector on ch1 and prog mix is INH but in parameters Aile 2 is dedicated to CH6/CH7 in aerobatic normal whereas i want to switch to normal mode as i am limited with only 7 channels where Ch6 is elevator and Ch7 battery. Please advise.
I am using R617fs with futaba 10c and i want to achieve
Ch1 ailerons both with y
Ch2 elevator 1
Ch3 throttle
Ch4 Rudder
Ch5 Optokill
Ch6 elevator 2
Ch7 battery
In my case ch6 is by default mixed with Ch1 i have inhibited all prog mixes.I have tried hard.I have selected aerobatic mode Please help if anyone is using same rx with this radio.
We could troubleshoot this further, but the simplest suggestion is to start from a clean slate.
Have you tried completely clearing out model memory for one of the model settings (using PARAMETER => RESET, and programming it afresh ?
Hi,
you can choose/select 2 ailerons on 2 channel
go to ...BASIC---FLAPERON ...MIX---ON
laxman
Quite the opposite, I think :headscratch:
If you want to free up that channel, make sure AIL-DIFF and FLAPERON are disabled (INHibited).
And take a look at the AUX-CH menu also.
oh.. sorry.. ;D anwar bhai..you are right.
your flapraon & ail-diff should be (INH)
I am using Futaba 10CHG. In the Acrobatic type in Parameters having Aile-2 as CH 6 or 7 or 6&5 has no effect as long as you have not enabled Flaperon mix in the Program mix.
Just reset in ACROBAT MODE in Parameters which should release the Pre Mixing of Flaperon mix.
If you want to slave channel 6 to 2 i.e. two elevator servo in channel 2 & 6. Then first select Acrobatic mode. Let Aile - 2 remain whatever it is.
Go to Aux CH select Null for CH6 and CH7 for CH5 choose the switch which you want to use for Opto Kill.
Go back in menu. Next press menu button again to enter Program mixes. Select "INH" for all the mixing if not already i.e flaperon, Flap Trim, Aile-Diff, Air Brake, Elev Flap, Ailevator, Snap Roll, V tail and Elevon.
Enter Prog Mix 1-8. Enter Prog Mix 1. Then select Master CH2 Slave CH6, Rate 100% up and Down, Select Mix On, SW POST as NULL.
Now your Channel 6 will be slave to Channel 2.
Thanks a lot Anwar Sir, Sundaram & Laxmansuthar for your quick help. :hatsoff:
My AIL-DIFF was on, now i have re-tuned my plane in a new model.
Please advise what dual rate & Expos should in dial in for Normal/aerobatic & 3d flying on my 70'' Extra 260 .180 size w/DLE 35RA
Also guide should i assign a single switch for all dual rates or should i dial in separate switch.
Kind Regards,
Anilesh
Its always best idea to programme all DR and Expo combinations for all Control surfaces to one 3 posn toggle switch. from where you can select from the swiftest to the softest.
Best DR and Expo combination you have to discover for yourself depending on response of the hardware you have and based on your style of flying and how nimble or Jab stick you are with the control stick inputs.
