Happy to inform the members that the 2nd radio approved for Indian Hobbies is the Futaba T6EX-2.4GHz radio. The features of the radio are

Six model memory Servo reversing End point adjustment
Airplane or heli programming
Dual Rate /Exponential for ailerons, rudder and elevator
Fail Safe-safety throttle setting in case of transmitter signal loss

including the cheap ones

That is great news :thumbsup:  The others would be coming through soon too, removing this hurdle once and for all.

Type approval is seems to be limited to the seller. I guess it is about manufacturing batches, otherwise it does not seem to make sense, as for practical purposes the exact same models of the same radio can be considered exactly similar in specifications and operation.

As you can see, it is specific to importer and model.  Most importantly, you can see that it is conditional on the records of the customers being properly recorded/maintained.  This is why WPC approval of one model does not mean all other items of the same model are not also automatically type approved.

hey guys..i'm new to this hobby..so is feasible for individuals to get a particular model of interest licensed??..what will be the cost??

Not sure about costs for WPC approval itself.  The import license only part is Rs500, from what I remember.
