Friends,
I have a problem here. I am wanting to upgrade my RC set for a while now and am looking for a good 6 ch set. Have zeroed down to FUTABA T6K and the HITEC Optic 6. Well... not sure what to buy.
Can the learned friends please help me in deciding what to buy.... and also what would be approximate cost of these sets....??

I got my Optic6 in Dec 2006, ie 9 yrs ago.
Got Frsky 2.4 module 3 yrs ago.
Got Frsky telemetry 2 yrs ago.
Amazed to find that the Optic 6 still has everything i need
(except i have more planes than the 8 it can remember!)
As far as i'm concerned, the quality is superb. Not one glitch in 9 years.
Put in a lipo that lasts me 3 months before charging!
I use the original 72mhz QPCM module in my glow plane and the Frsky 2.4 module for electrics.
Telemetry module rarely used...
But things may have changed over time...

I have other txs, but i rarely use them. I love my Optic6!
Guess the new Optic 6 does not need a module...... and it is with basic telemetry... and so is the Futaba T6K...

The New Optic 6 comes with a built in module....... and has basic telemetry..... and so does the FUTABA T6K.

As far as i can make out (from discussions on RCG), rxs of other makes are not supported.

Ohh... you mean to say that Hitec supports only Hitec Rx..... well.... thats an issue then....
You know kf any LHS which can sell me these FUTABA T6K or Optic 6
