I bought a new 2.4GHz 4 Ch Tx/Rx. The package doesn't contained any manual or a connection diagram. When I contacted the supplier they said that the receiver is of a COLCO heli.I am having a 4 Ch TB-20 electric plane with 72MHz Tx/Rx. The new receiver's connection points are different from the old, and there is no index or markings on the receiver slots. Can anybody help me by sending a connection diagram or explain me how to connect the wires to the receiver. The PCB has markings of pins like shown below (and LAMA5 V11 is written on it), which I couldn't make out.

Welcome to RC India  :)

If we got this right, these co-axial indoor helis use radio systems that have all-in-one units with a mixer (two control the two motors) along with some kind of basic gyro all rolled into one.  They are pretty much purpose built, and using them as a general purpose RC radio is almost out of question  :(

So the first question is, what are you trying to do with it ?

Also, the members here would be able to assist better if you are able to post the exact model numbers from either the unit itself, or from any documentation or invoice that came with it.  If that is a tall order, then try to locate the same unit somewhere on the web, and post a link here.

Hello Anwar Sir,
My answer to your first question is " I want to fit it into my 4Ch TB-20 electric plane, replacing the 72MHz system."

Hmm.. All of their

3 channel 2.4Ghz receivers (http://www.colco.com.cn/english/products.asp?prodid=0054)

6 channel 2.4Ghz receivers (http://www.colco.com.cn/english/products.asp?prodid=0019)

and

8 channel 2.4Ghz receivers (http://www.colco.com.cn/english/products.asp?prodid=0020)

all look like they accept normal servo connections (with 3 leads) !

You seems to have got your hands on the lone non-standard one.

You options seem to be :

1. Request more documentation from the supplier.

2. Figure it out yourself using measuring tools (be careful not to short the leads, use servo connectors, and measure from the wires of those).

3. Seek a replacement from the supplier.

Yep that would be option number 4.  Just check compatibility between the 4ch TX and the 6ch RX though.

Hi -

Since you are a fellow Mallu, can you let us know if and where you fly regularly around Kochi ?  It would be great if you can post a self-into topic in the RC People board (http://www.rcindia.org/rc-people/:)
