trim buttons are there to fine tune the servo positions so that you can have a stable flight be it Heli, Plane or RC car.

Welcome to RC India :)

Trimming is initially done to align control surfaces near (perfectly) to the rest of the airframe (or to make the car go dead straight in the case of cars etc).  Once in the air, they are again used to fine tune the flight characteristics of the airplane so that it flies pretty much straight when no control inputs are given.  Note that the control surfaces being perfectly aligned to the rest of the fuse may not lead to the plane tracking straight (due to imperfections in construction or build of the plane).

PS: Please do put meaningful topic names :)   Something like "Purpose of trim switches" would have made this much more useful to everyone (so it will be updated so!)
