is it suitable for quad????

spitfire

which quad controller are you using?
you should be able to use it for most of the common controller boards like kk or hobby king board.

hyd_quads

Yes, it's suitable. (I use MultiWii controller board). It should be suitable for most other boards too like the HK board.

Are you asking about programming of radio or controller board?
You can use kk control board right out of box as it comes preloaded with + configuration firmware.
You will need to program it only if you want to change it to x configuration firmware or if there is latest update.
In case of radio, you will have to connect it to computer if you wish to use advanced setting like dual rates, expos etc. which are recommenced for smooth controls.

Do some extensive reading if you are new to this stuff. you can go through 'Self-designed, DIY and College Projects'. you will find some build logs of quadrotor.

im asking radio programming ....it is already programmed  or not if i buy a new radio

Hobbyking 4ch radios don't have computer programing facility. If you see pic carefully you can see servo reverse switches on radio and trims. You can not set EPA, DR etc, for that you need to buy atleast 6ch radio. But you can use it for simulator using cable.

if i buy a new 6 ch radio and rx set to the control board..so quad will fly in a first attempt or will i any change in tx system?

spitfire

Yes Dharmik is correct.
Sorry for what I mentioned earlier about programming radio. I didn't see the radio properly and considered it as 6ch radio.

You can still use 4ch radio. But I would suggest to buy atleast 6ch radio so that you can you advance setting to setup your quad.

i want only to fly my quad...is any change required for new 6 ch radio ?? or will i use a new 6 ch radio without any change??

Dharmik

For quad you need to set tx to ACRO mode so if your radio comes with ACRO mode by default then you won't need to change much but it is always good to check tx settings before you test anything.

As far as MultiWii is concerned, you can NOT use it as it is shipped, you need to do quite a bit of tweaking of values. Sometimes, you will also need to go to the firmware level and tweak the arduino sketches. If you are familiar with all that and are ready to spend some extra bucks, go for MultiWii (if you haven't purchased the kk board already)
