Hello Experts,
I need help in setting up my first plane. I am using rcb6i transmitter/receiver. My setup is a trainer plane with elevator and rudder.
My motor and ESC connected just fine on channel 3. My rudder setting is on channel 2 and elevator on channel 4. Elevator servo works just fine but channel 2 servo for rudder does not move much. I tried swapping the servos but problem did not solve. That means there is nothing wrong with the servos.
I tried setting dual rates, modes etc., but could not figure out the problem. Any help will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Do the rudder servo shows any kind of response to stick ? is it moving very little ?
if so, you might have configured the rudder channel end point values too small, check the endpoint settings, increase it if necessary.
One correction...rudder should be on channel 4 and elevator on channel 2.Check the end points on the TX.Are you using the throttle on left or right stick?
Hello Sooraj, Kiran
Thanks for the response guys.
Sooraj, yes, servo moves but very little. On channel 4, the same servo moves greater distance (almost double).
Settings:
Dual rate which is set at 99% for all channels including channel 2.
Expo: 0% for all channels (1,2,4) - this is default value
Endpoint: 100% for all channels (1 to 6) - this is again default value
Kiran, yes, my bad. channel 2 is elevator and 4 is rudder. Throttle is on the right stick. The problem is with channel 2.
Any clues guys?
Thank You.
You should recalibrate the transmitter. There is actually a method to do that. This should solve the problem. The programming of the tx(by default) may not move the channels to their end points.

Hello Kiran,
Thanks a lot friend. I will do this procedure as soon as I reach home and will post back the result.
Thank You.
Your welcome :)
Hey Kiran,
I did exactly what is shown in the video. It failed at first, but second time it worked. After following the procedure, i had to rebind the receiver. To my surprise, the channel 2 servo worked like a charm and moved all the way. Yay!
I do not have enough words to say thanks! That was the only thing between me and my first plane and you helped solve it! You rock!
Thank You.
Thanks
