Title: Help needed in fixing HK Transmitter

Pls Help, I burned out my HK-T6A V2 6 CHANNEL Transmitter power board regulator (I think its is regulator experts advice needed) by reversing polarity. I cant read it fully, first letters burned off ....M05 :help: :help: :help: :help:

Probably it is LM7805 a basic 5v converter...as mostly all mcu run on 5v..are you sure it is that part which got burned at such voltage converters have lot of tolerance to heat! How did you burn it? :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

you can get LM7805 (voltage regulator) from any electronic shop for rs.10  very widely used voltage regulator.. ( 7805 , 7809 , 7812 etc...)

Thanks Himadri Roy and gunnu, I connected it to an battery in reverse polarity that's how it burned,in the regulator it was written ......M05,instead of LM7805 ,'78' was missing between 'M' and '05',it made me confused.

@vijeeshkumar, no problem with that, actually original one is LM78M05, and others prefered is LM7805, they are same in volts but different in amps. LM78M05 can be replaced by LM7805 in your case.

don't worry bro.. it is voltage regulator you can use 7805 instead of this... i think your transmitter has this regulator..( check image ).. both are same so don't worry..
