hello everyone
i have a 6 channel skytech t6i 8604 ace rc transmitter and reciever.
recently during changing transmitter batteries , by mistake i connected battery to transmitter in wrong polarity.
after that , the transmitter was not responding.
it is a big problem to me and i m completely unaware of transmitter electronics.
can anyone help me?
thanks.

"IF" there is a fail safe fuse then just replace it... (i had similar issues on the spektrum dx7 and had to just to replace the fuse and the tx was buzzing again)

Your tx has a diode for reverse polarity protection - in all
probablity it has blown.

see this link
http://www.siriuselectronics.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=29

try jumpering the diode it will probably work -- be sure of your battery
polarity once you have bypassed the diode.

after opening the transmitter , i found that there is no fail safe fuse .

your tx is a rebranded hitec optic 6 sport

As you have already opened the Tx, Just unscrew the Encoder card from Cabinet and trace the Zener/7805 IC. Trace from Power input terminals and you surely find this. Please mark while opening the jumpers from Pots, Tx Cards, Display & other switches so that you can refix them in proper location.
Now, try to find out as above(Any blown out items) or take both side photo and place here.

You will surely be flooded with help and your Tx will be cured.

Thanks

The reverse polarity protection diode is like a one way valve. It will block voltage and will never blow.

guys , show interest in  resolving the issue......

Your best bet is to contact a local modeller who has some knowledge of the electronics used. Without a circuit diagram or examining the set, it would be difficult to effect a diagnosis.

Please check the followings are correct or not?
1. Battery incoming terminals.
2. First soldering in PCB.
3. Need close up as not clear for low resolution.
4. If possible, both side high resolution photo. If required, also upload the photo in other image host lie tinypic or imageshack.us.

Possibly the PCB needs to be checked first.

here is the link for a high resolution pic.
i tried for best pic in high resolution. can be zoom easily without breaking pixels.

pcb can be inspected clearly here.
thanks sir

also checked in marked areas
1 and 2 are correctly joined.
in marked area 3 only a screw is fitted , no connection there.
thanks.

The IC ( LM 324 ,the black rectangular thing with 14 leads)on top side of the buzzer (Round thing) can you send a close up photo of it?
On the right hand side of the picture there is a diode marked D1 on the circuit board, I think this is the diode we are looking for.But I am not sure ,only from picture it is hard to tell. But do send me a good picture of this side also which I can magnify.

Aditya,
The right side PCB picture I need to check as power first comes here. The PCB is attached with back side of the Tx.
