Folks,

I am setting up Flaperon (Flaps + Aileron) using 2 servos. Once I do the mixing of aileron and flaps, it works fine. However was wanting to program the flaps as three step - no flap (0% ), flap for takeoff (50%) and flap for landing (100%).
The manual does not provide too much of help, so was searching the web. The only thing I found was and entry in on of the forums (radiocontrolzone.com) as follow

"This Is John Adams, Technical Director from Spektrum. The DX6i has a built in two position flap program. By using a programmable mix and mixxing the gear switch to flaps and activating the switch selection to flap, three positon flaps can be achieved. If you have these types of questions please contact our product support department. We have a staff trained to answer these types of questions"

:headscratch: :headscratch: :headscratch: some explanation.

Can anyone be more illustrative?

regards

Lots of threads are there on the US forum about 3 position flaps.  But I could not find any with a "flaperon" setup, involving 3 positions.

Without an actual radio to test, it is not easy to test something like this.

i dont think it is possible because there are only two possitions for flap switch i.e."0 & 1".

That is not true... there are many threads on how to achieve 3 position flaps on a DX6i with programmable mixes.  It is only on with "flaperons" (not "separate flaps") that this needs from figuring out !

Had seen this thread earlier, but did not see the "flaperon" part mentioned in the last post.  It seemed doable from the get go, but some of these cannot be confirmed unless one tries on the actual radio being discussed.

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Wow..! Thats really good idea to go mechanical...! I never thought using multi servo mechanism in plane to obtain particular result. Have you tried this practically...?
