Hi,
Got a Riccs Tx Rx from Jack's with a Fantasia model 3 years ago.
Never used radio due to problems detected during testing.
Now decided to open Tx and check.
Found Tx antenna disconnected (along with general poor quality of soldering on other joints)

RF module is Flysky FS-HF030 Vo.03
From internet pics i guess antenna attaches to top left corner.
That has 3 points.
So where to connect/solder antenna outer/inner?

Help appreciated.
Thanks.

the outer metallic sheath of a co ax antenna is ground (-) ... so do the following

1 get a multimeter and set to continuity test - should emit a continious beep
when probes are touched. find out a confirmed (-) negative voltage point in the board

2. put one probe on the negative identified and then use the other to isolate the ground either of the
the two antenna attachment points. Solder the outer of the co ax to the ground.

Thanks, but
There are three points at top left.
All three show continuity to ground (bottom left, black wire)
???

Like this pic found online?

Middle pad is where the antenna coax core is soldered. The outer two is ground where the outer sheath is soldered to any one. The tx should have survived if you had not switched on for long with a broken antenna. Output stage Would have fried by now if used for long without antenna. Sir try soldering an antenna but best bet is to replace the tx module with any other internal tx  module like frsky,  Turnigy,  Assan,  corona.

Thanks. Will give my pencell powered soldering iron some rare exercise!

Does anyone have the schematic for  FS-HF030 Vo.03.
My +5v and GND pin when did a short test has a short and i want to find out why .i suspect a voltage regulator short or something but just to be sure .Thanks in advance
