I built my whole quadcopter, with KK 2.0 board and Turnigy 9X.. Binded the rx with tx.. But what about initial settings on TX..?? There are videos to show settings on KK board.. But none to show initial settings to be applied on the TX menus.. Can anybody help me..?? This is the only one step preventing me from flying my quad... I cant risk my quad with junk settings.. So waiting for your replies..

I want changes to be done to all of the settings shown in the above video.. Which mode is to be selected..?? All are showing "Turnigy".. Plane type HEli..? Aux-ch settings.. Gain settings.. Thr-xx settings.. All of them..

Thank you in advance..

initial setting means ?you mean function setting?

for quad select mode name is your wish, type select for heli, modeuat PPM,stick select mode 2 press menu and when it ask for throttle reverse just press exit do not press menu.these are basic setting.
You want to go up---pull the stick back--You want to go down---pull the stick waay back!

Thank you Mr. Murthy.. Thank you for your response.. It helped a lot.. Some more doubts I encountered were:

1) My KK board is showing " Self-Level:off".. What ever the buttons I change.. It remains the same.. How to turn it on?

2) And what should I do If my rudder stick when moved to right, sending a signal of left to the KK board..??

3) I'm not able to arm the copter, even I put Throttle to Idle and Rudder to right.. (When I tried this, I didn't have my motors mounted.. Just ESCs alone and KK board..) Do I need to mount the motors in order to "ARM" my copter..??

4) What should I change the settings to switch my quad between Acrobatic-Attitude modes??

5) How to prevent mixing of signals.?? When I keep maximum Throttle, rudder is automatically changing..(Just 5-6 values.. I don't want that..)

Model Selection as a Heli should be made only with CCPM Helis. So select the Model as Plane.
Heli mode does work with Quads too but then the configuration part becomes complex and you don't want to get there at the moment.

Just get on to configuring the board after setting the Tx in Plane mode.

Watch these videos for the configuration Part

Self level explained:

The 1st video is not for KK2.0 but it still provides a fair bit of idea about the basics and how configuration works on a quad. The Jerk test from this video is recommended.
BTW, never put the props on until you are 100% sure that the configuration is complete and you have completed the Jerk Test.

Reverse that channel on the TX.

I'm not able to arm the copter, even I put Throttle to Idle and Rudder to right.. (When I tried this, I didn't have my motors mounted.. Just ESCs alone and KK board..) Do I need to mount the motors in order to "ARM" my copter..??
Try with Rudder to left. You should also hear beep on the speaker that came with the board.

What should I change the settings to switch my quad between Acrobatic-Attitude modes??
Stick Self level mode for the time being.
Actually put to Self Level mode only when you go to fly. For the configuration Part, stick to the regular mode (helps in Jerk test).
The 3rd video will also explain how you can use a free channel on the Tx to toggle between these 2 modes.

How to prevent mixing of signals.?? When I keep maximum Throttle, rudder is automatically changing..(Just 5-6 values.. I don't want that..)
It's most probably because your left thumb moves a little bit horizontally as well when you move it vertically. Don't worry about that. 5-6 values won't matter much.
