Hello to all,
I ordered my set of RCB6i but will get it before tuesday. In the meanwhile I downloaded phoenix v3.0 from torrent it's working perfect. Now I have a doubt RCB6i has an 3.5mm jack for simulator and training but Phoenix doesn't supports it what to do.
Great job nitesh.
there should be some sort of connector to convert from usb to the 3mm jack. i too need some sim for either a rcb6i/fs T6. let me know the results when you are completed.
BTW my parcel status

received my radio
Now THAT is one biggggg smile ;D ;D
Thanks
one doubt.
on the esc wire there are three wires black, red and white can anyone tell me which is signal and which is negative
i binded now calibrating left
calibrating over
So now back to the topic
I think I've figured it how I should connect my radio and my pc to have simulator fun.
I've downloaded phoenix 3.0 and emulator.
So, what I need to do is get an cable which has dsc and an usb port like this one http://www.rcbazaar.com/products/1627-cable-for-simulator.aspx (http://www.rcbazaar.com/products/1627-cable-for-simulator.aspx) and then use it am I right
On any servo/esc connector wire, the lightest color is signal, typically it's white/yellow. the middle wire is positive which would be red/orange and the darkest colored wire will be the negative, back/brown.
Thanks anjan but I sorted it out yesterday
BTW I tried inserting an 3.5mm audio jack inside and it went in perfect
I have downloaded the emulator also
You need a simulator cable to solve your issue. It is available on every RC store provided it is in stock.

But it is out of stock.
can't I run it without that
No you can not.
There comes a wireless simulator in which you can connect your receiver directly using jumper cables. But, in that case too you need to buy it. Otherwise go to local electronic market/computer market and ask for the thing you require i.e. 3.5mm on one end and USB on other. or some sort of similar converter cable. Might be it works and you get something. But, I'm not sure whether it would work with simulator or not.
what about fms simulator will it work

this cable works with only fms software. no other software support. I've the muav one.
how is fms is it nice
The worst software for RC. I don't think that anything could be learned from it. Comes for hardly 5mb... You can imagine. Search for it on google and download it. You'll get that easily.
ok thanks
is there anyway i can use it for phoenix or real flight
There is no such way known to me of connecting this.
For using Phoenix RC and Realflight you'll have to go for a simulator set available on different stores. The one at quadkopters I'm using is costing for 675/- cheapest i think... supports all softwares.... Otherwise rcbazaar, rcbharat, edallhobby etc also have similar products but they are expensive.
Is there any way I can control phoenix with my pc using an keyboard
Hi Nitesh,
I'm not sure about Phoenix RC but yeah Real flight demo version could be controlled from keyboard.
I would strictly advise you not to go for keyboard since it will affect your habit of using controls. In keyboard every time you give for ex: up elevator, full elevator gets applied which is very bad.
Has anyone tried this method?http://www.smartpropoplus.com/dnn/SetUp/InstallationFMS/Connecting/tabid/60/Default.aspx
thanks ajn9325.
I will surely try it
Keep me updated on how it goes.
