i want to run just the servo's and so how to give supply to the Receiver :banghead: with out ESC, since no motor is being used ....
i'm using this Tx-Rx http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__16239__HobbyKing_HK6S_2_4Ghz_FHSS_6Ch_Tx_Rx_Mode_2_.html
the receiver has channels 1-6 and ID set (binder)
So how do i get it done ... ?
Previously when i once used http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8991__Turnigy_9X_9Ch_Transmitter_w_Module_8ch_Receiver_Mode_1_v2_Firmware_.html?gclid=CLqfv633wLICFREU6wodTnwA6g
it's receiver had channels 1-8 and a Bind - Bat 4-6V option ...., so i connected 4 AA cells in series and so did it .....
Now i don't have that Tx :-\
so how can we do it for the Hk 6 channel one. ...., ??? can we connect the supply to the bind option to this also ..., :headscratch: :headscratch:
didn't attempt it since it was not mentioned ... ???
and it does not have spare RX , if any thing went wrong ..... :help: :banghead: :help:
so , did any one attempted this on any similar Tx-Rx ? :help:
I think some of the boat & hovercraft builders would have experienced this while using motors being directly connected to batteries where as the rudder movements are controlled by servos ...
and yes even on powerless gliders .....
you can plug 4AA cells into channel 6 or 5 - it will work
so will it be enough to run 3 servos ??
and causing no damage to the Rx (HobbyKing HK6S) ... since it was not mentioned
u have any experience doing so .... pls share ......
@ajith.... u need to go through ur basics... any ways the live is a school and u learn every day....
when we fly nitros we do not have a motor or a esc.. in that case to power up the Receiver and the servos we use a 4.8V NiCd or NiMh battery pack...
to do that u can get 4 NiCd rechargeable cells form a local store and solder them in series... also solder on the connector which goes in the receiver..( if u are using the switch then into switch)
this is enough to power up the receiver and the servos...
with a 700 mAh eveready cells ( 4 in series= 4.8v) gives me a flight time of around 45 mins (with some charge left) of hard aerobatics... of course with refueling in between....!!
why don't you get a BEC, so you can use lipos.
