Thanks
I have one and will post the info sooner.
May i ask you why do you need this length. any theory behind this?

May be he wants to see the location where he can place the reciever in his plane?
my receiver got sucked into the edf .. white part got chopped off i lost range .. im getting only 200m now.. i need to peel off the shield and expose the the white part exactly as long as the stock reciever..
Thanks Ashok
Will you get more range if you extend it more than the stock reciever? don't know... just asking?
Should be around 1". i dont think excess will make any difference. its the length of the total antenna which does matters than the exposed section.
Awaiting seniors to pitch in.

Actually length of the bare wire(white part) i.e antenna is important . 'Length of the antenna on a typical 2.4GHz receiver is 28.8 to 32 mm long, most are about 28.8 mm', its 32 mm on the spare Rx wires I ordered from HK. Best go with 31mm, which is 1/4 wavelength at 2.4 gigahertz and since we are using quarter wave antenna.
thanks guys for all the help .. ill go for 31mm :hatsoff:

The antenna length is critical in 2.4/5.8 systems. Too much or too little will affect the range in undesirable ways.
