DX6

Three model types, voice alerts, 250 model memory, wireless trainer link, built-in telemetry – you get it all with the DX6, and for a lot less than you might think.

THE PROGRAMMING YOU NEED WITH NOTHING YOU DON'T.

The DX6 has been designed from the ground up to deliver way more than you would ever expect from a 6-channel transmitter in its price range. Instead of having to content yourself with a handful of settings for a couple of model types, the remarkably affordable DX6 gives you an abundance of programming features for airplanes, helicopters and sailplanes. You also get other extras like voice alerts, a wireless trainer link and enough internal memory for up to 250 models.

PROGRAMMABLE VOICE ALERTS
With voice alerts, the DX6 will allow you to keep tabs on important functions without ever taking your eyes off what you're flying. They can be programmed to call out what flight mode you've chosen or report telemetry information on demand. If an alarm goes off, you won't have to look at the transmitter display to see what's happening. The DX6 will tell you.

WIRELESS TRAINER LINK
The wireless trainer link gives instructors the option to wirelessly "buddy box" with another DSM2®/DSMX® transmitter. Once bound to another transmitter, ModelMatch™ technology will allow the DX6 to re-link without having to go through the bind process again.

AIRPLANE, HELICOPTER AND SAILPLANE PROGRAMMING
In addition to its extensive airplane and heli programming, the DX6 includes an impressive list of programming features for sailplanes as well. Five available flight modes, 4 wing types, 3 tail types, a flap-to-elevator curve mix – it has all this and more. The intuitive SimpleScroll™ programming interface makes all of these functions incredibly easy to access and use.

250 MODEL MEMORY
The enormous capacity of the DX6's on-board memory means you will rarely, if ever, need to juggle models between transmitter memory and your SD card. The model memory menu is easier to navigate too. Only memory slots with model settings saved to them will appear. You won't have to scroll through empty slots or move models around if one is deleted.

INCLUDES FULL-RANGE AR610 RECEIVER
The AR610 combines the speed and precision of DSMX control with the signal security of an active amplified antenna. This antenna enables the receiver to "see around" reflective materials on a model and avoid polarization blind spots. Because it's amplified, it can pick out its transmitter's signal with remarkable clarity in noisy 2.4GHz environments. The AR610 also includes a data port for use with Spektrum telemetry modules and the Flight Log signal monitor.

FLY SMARTER WITH BUILT-IN TELEMETRY

The DX6 is equipped with a built-in telemetry feature that gives you real-time information on things like your model's battery voltage, signal quality, engine or motor temperature, airspeed, altitude and more.*

Using the voice alert system, you can program the DX6 to tell you when specific telemetry values reach or exceed limits you define. You can also have it call out a sequence of telemetry values on demand with the flip of a switch. If you want to review telemetry after a flight, the DX6 can be set up to record the data to its SD card.

Awesome, for under 15k its a bargain for so many features, if you have the money and your a beginner this would the best thing to buy.

I think we should wait for some time so price reduces a bit to like 12k or less.
Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

JR spektrum love them both.
However a taranis beats all the functions except model memory.

hahaha Neil nah prices won't come down for few years I guess.
Now its Hard to choose between XG6 and Dx6. Both got telemetry and stuff.
Dx6 with voice alerts . Best part is the Orange Rx DSM2 (cheap) for spectrum transmitter , For JR you pay 4000+ for a DMSS Rx.

True, both have almost the same price but coz DX6 is new and has voice alerts i would choose it over XG6 even though i have to pay a bit more.

And the higher price point is justified because Orange Rx will save a lot of money.

Agree with Dhruv. I have XG6 but now am repenting because DMSS Rx is expensive.  :banghead: :banghead: even clone Rx also not good.  :banghead: :banghead:

well friends.... it all ultimately boils down to what do you actually want v/s your needs...... The needs of an average aeromodeller are not much and there is actually no need to mix much on controls in a normal aeroplane... All aerobatics can be done without mixing of controls in the Tx.  Well yes if are using flaprons or Tailarons or alievons yes the you need to mix these controls....  Therefore any system which provides you these facilities is good enough.  To go for things like telemetry etc... well how much do u need it and how much do you use it as a routine flier????? Do you really need it or is it a matter of showing it to your friends that you have one.... You need to decide on this basic fact before spending your hard earned money... and if you got loads of spare money.. then go ahead and fly a real aeroplane and not these small models...
Well I been into aeromodelling since I was in School....  and then been in the air for over 30 years.  Now looking to be back into aeromodelling full time...

@shobhit17  :thumbsup:

Skill matters.Not brand

In RC field whole mechanism is just 30% were as the man who hold TX in-put is 70%.

Same way human wants are unsatisfied  >:D

Sir its not about spending, as a beginner this tx will last for a long time in RC. And investing once is what makes the hobby more fun to be in. In photography people spend once in their camera and learn a lot with it, but instead of buying a cheap digital cam, a sony or nikon will last longer and give better results.

If you have the money and are a beginner then this is the best thing to go for.
So with a DX6 once we have learned the basics we dont have to spend a lot to buy a professional computer radio. :)

Though its not in my budget, to mimic a DX6's functionality and appeal i will just upgrade my FS9x in the future with all upgrades the total wont go above Rs.5000 probably a lot below that. :D

Neil.

As a beginner buying DX6 won't settle us i can challenge next we will be planning for DX8 or more.

that's what I said... if you have the money.. then go ahead and blow it... or else weigh your needs against the cost.....

Hi friends,
Any retailer in India for this model ?

Ashish007

lugoasgaurav

Futaba is the best may be any mod , no confusion,no complexity just plug n play  :giggle: ;D

prabal276

i am planning to buy a new radio but;
How do i get these in india?

lugoasgaurav

Getting radio in India is really tough now,Customs are real strict with the rules of banning any radio imported in India. If stuck then no way you can get it  :(.
Best is to get radio from RCD,B'lore if you love JR or RCB,B'lore/Pune if you love Graupner  .
