Hello. I'm a beginner and have flown a couple electric models such as the Cessna. I want to buy a new professional radio.
Am looking at Futaba 6J right now, plan to upgrade to nitro and use it with it. Let me know what you guys think about that radio.

My Budget is about 14-15k. Kindly suggest me a good radio along with the reasons.
Also, what do you think about the JR XG6 and the Spektrum ones? Which one is the best?
I'm going to use it to fly planes and quads.
Thanks in advance.

My suggestion is the FrSky Taranis X9D+. Right now it seems to be the best radio in the class. It has a built in FrSky XJT module which should give up to 1.5km stock range and can be used with the L series receivers for long range. The FrSky link is known to be solid and it has on screen telemetry. It also supports a second JR style module in the module bay. It runs openTx, one of the most powerful open source firmwares out there. I have heard the quality is good and it has a great wealth of features I haven't described. It comes as a full set with radio, receiver, case and battery around 18K.
I actually wish it had fit my budget when I was buying a radio. I am drooling over it even now  (:|~
