Hi Ved,

Each brand of a radio a reciever that is specific to it, so if you have say a X brand radio at say Y frequency then you would only be able to use the X brand transmitter with the X brand receiver with Y frequency or a reciever which states to be compatible with brand X at Y frequency, you cannot use the X brand radio with say a Z brand receiver at Y frequency... hope this helps...

moreover if u r talking abt standard radios used in RC, then in FM there is something called phase shift, it can be either +ve or -ve, this should also need to be same for both RX & TX.

You can use Synthesized tx of x brand with synthesized Rx of x brands, in some cases y brands rx can also be used with x brand tx (depends on compatibility), refer to user manual and specifications if available.

The answer is NO in 95% of the cases and YES for 5% :)

In 2.4Ghz systems, the answer is pretty much a flat NO.  In the Mhz systems, there is some possibility, and there are some receivers which can work with transmitters from multiple brands.

Perhaps you should clarify what brands/models of radios and receivers you are talking about, and people will be able to give you a very specific/direct answer :)

Futaba Tx works with dual Synth Corona Rx of the same frequency ie if both are on lets say 72 Mhz. I've tried that and it works.
Just a query - Would a Hitec 72.018 Mhz Tx module on a futaba 9CAP work with a corona dual synth 72 Mhz Rx?
Has anyone tried it?

Corona is synthesized and shift agnostic, so it SHOULD work with all 4 of the major brands.  Do test and let us know if this is proven in practice :)
