Dear Friends I burned my Turnigy 9x Transmitter by putting its polarity in reverse order :banghead: black smoke came from it.  I opened and saw a SMD capacitor was burnt.  I tried to replace that capacitor and switched on.  But transmitter is not switching on.  Anybody who can fix my issue please leave their contact number of call me at 9844380830 :-\

The voltage regulator will also be burned. Try replacing that too.

Are you sure that was a capacitor?, may be that is a diode for reverse polarity protection.

Edit: Got Schematic and confirmed that was a capacitor.
So now check all 3 voltage regulators.

At First, If you have multimeter then you should check whether that the regulators giving output

For replacing parts you can use normal 25 or less watts soldering irons or smd station.

If you can parcel that to me then I can fix that to you, or find some one have better experience near by.
