hello Rathi
the process of usage is as below
1. Remove all power input to the RX
2. TX is switched ON (of course the TX and RX needs to be bound to each other earlier)
3. Press the Bind button on the RX and give power supply to the RX when the LED switched ON then release the button. Now channel 10 will output the SBUS in PWM signal
The next process is similar to any futaba sbus system of setting up with your sbus servos...

Sujju sir,

Is the process similar for PPM mode?

Comet

Sorry, for reviving such an old thread but I need to connect the 10Ch receiver to Pixhawk 2.4.8 and need to configure it either in SBUS or CPPM mode only. I would like to request a step by step tutorial with some pictures of the pins if possible.

Swapnil

@Comet
I tried a lot but wasn't able to figure it out. Hope someone from RCB helps us out.

Comet

I figured it out. It's exactly as per the instructions. I will post the procedure with some pics tomorrow.

Process to use sbus-
Remove battery from avionic radio.
Trash the radio.
Buy a flysky(really low budget)/ qx7(low budget)/ X9D (mid budget.)

P.S. jokes aside the avionic radios are quite trashy, you should upgrade asap

You just need a ppm encoder. Connect the receiver channels to the input of ppm encoder and the output to the first pin of the pixhawk RCIN (NOT SBUS).

jangoachayan

Might be a late reply but may still help people like me who struggled for quite some time on this

the procedure is as follows

1. Bind the receiver to transmitter normally ( if not already bound )
2. Disconnect receiver power
3. Press the bind button while not powered on and then connect to power keeping the bind button pressed
4. A blue light should illuminate indicating receiver in SBUS mode

Note
To connect to pixhawk connect channel 10 of receiver marked SBUS with the channel on the pixhawk marked PPM (first pin on the left). If you connect to the one marked SBUS it wont work because that is  SBUS output

Hope this helps.

a method showing this method is explained for their 8 channel Avionic RZ8 receiver it works for the 10 channel receiver as well
