This is awesome but only limited to the spektrum transmitter.

cool! I don't get why it doesn't work with any other radios.. Doesn't it take its input from the receiver like a standard servo does? So shouldn't any receiver work?

Currently looks like they are only designed for Spektrum transmitter & JR 2.4 radios

If they are missing Futaba, they are shooting at thier feet. I guess its would be foolish to ignore Futaba. Just take an example. HK introduced 'Compatible' Rx from FrSky/Orange for both DSM@ (Spektrum/JR) and FASST (Futaba). Though those for DSM2 are usually available, but the Rx for Futaba are having an unprecedented backlog.

Just to highlight how popular Futaba is, irrespective of other people claim. I am not claiming which technology is better - just popular.

Funny thread about radios on RCU : http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=10061506

Looks like people are complaining more about issues in the DSM technologies.

The output of Futaba not the same as Spektrum and much more difficult to implement. They are working on a Futaba version according to their website.

Picked up this Wireless simulator recently

pretty impressive stuff. Can be used as a wired as well as wireless simulator with any radio. Apart from that can be used as a simstick also. Wonder what a simstick is if it is different from a wirelss simulator.

To top it all it has seven channels of input like a wired sim.

Great stuff
