Post by: flatspin_king on August 05, 2011, 08:24:03 PM
hi guys, I have a futaba T6 exap fm/pcm tx and R136 hp rx that I would like to sell. Its very gently used and about 3 yrs old. My question is what is a fair price to ask for this combo? thanks in advance!

firstly it depends on what rate u brought it for...!

then a flat 20-40% discount(depending on the condition) if it has been used for around a year..

then come the pics ( posting pics of the product in hand is a compulsion) ...

then people will make their offers on your price... if all goes well u have a deal..!

:salute: :salute:

I would say 10% less than the current price of it on Tower (without adding shipping or customs).  Just a suggestion :)

Tower does not list the 6EXAP any more. It's all 2.4.

My two cents..

5.5k to 6.5k is a fair price according to me..

Ahhh... didn't realize that Tower had completely stopped them.  It is a sign of the times !

Another option is to look at RCG, RCU and RR classifieds, and find an average amount.  But keep out shipping, applicable customs and listings that are clearly distress sales.

thanks for all the advice guys. Thats roughly what I had estimated. I am going to throw in a corona synthesized rx (RP 6d1). So I guess abt 7.5 -to 8 should be ok. Btw here is a pic of the tx (rx is still in the plane)

Ok, good point! Will keep that in mind. (I am not a heli guy so I have no idea abt heli functionality)
