Gentlemen,

Could someone please explain to an absolute RC novice what are these switches for and what am I supposed to do with them? Please use everyday language, such that I don't need to Google every third word to figure out what you are trying to tell me! ??? ??? ???

Thanks and Regards,

VC

Assuming you want to fly a 4 channel airplane, and without access to a manual for this, here are some best guesses.

#1 : Elevator, reverse it (by changing the switch position) if they are working opposite to how they should be.
#2 : Aileron, reverse it if they are working opposite to how they should be.
#3 : Throttle, should be off/normal (unless it is a Futaba standard TX).
#4 : Rudder, reverse it if they are working opposite to how they should be.
#5 : I am assuming ACRO is ON, so turn this one ON.
#6 : Not sure, hopefully not needed for airplanes.
#7 : May not be activated when #5 is setup right, but NORM would be a preferred choice for airplanes, just in case.
#8 : Is this the one with the "Caution" ?  I guess you can try leaving it how you found it.
#9 : Looks like a heli only thing, so try not to worry about it ;)
#10 : Same as #9.
Hangar : Please see my introduction.
