Hello all !!!
I am using flysky th9x tx with eight 2500 mAh NiMH rechargeable Batteries.
The tx screen was showing 9.4 volts (after some 30 min. of usage),when suddenly screen goes blank and radio turns off itself .
I switched off the radio and check the pack with my multimeter. It was showing 5.5 volts but the voltage steadily rises to 9.6 volts. I switched on my tx with multimeter connected to battery pack. As i switched on the tx the voltage suddenly dropped to 5.5 volts in the meter and tx screen goes blank again and it steadily rises to 9.6 volts again when i switched off the tx.

Why is this happening ???

This is normal for drained battery. recharge it for atleast 8 hours and this should be fine again.
No worries.

But main problem is my tx was showing above 9 volts and then it switches off suddenly. And when i switched it on after 1 min it shows 5.5 volts and switches off. This thing is bad during a flight. And yes i had calibrated the voltage in the tx.

yes, this is bcoz of complete drain. the voltage will raise slowly after a few minutes but cannot supply the necessary amps for TX. and hence the voltage drops to 5.5 and the TX will switch off. Let it charge for overnight. and switch it on back by afternoon. it should be fine..
It happened to me. Twice!

I had simler problem and found that there was lose connection for one cell after opening lipo.

Check carefully before using it again.

I dont think that will be the reason in my case...

Harsh strongly recommnded that please change the battery....incase it is the lipo..Regards

I can't understand its the problem of tx or battery as batteries seems to be working properly. I think its the battery calibration issue in tx  :-\
