Hiii everyone i m into RC (250mm racing quads) for last year. i Have a flysky fs-t6 and it work fine for me but now i want to upgrade for a serious RADIO system like FUTUBA OR SPEKTRUM soo please now really need help for up-gradation and don't know much about radios like what is module :headscratch: :headscratch: ? and want a 6 channel please help :hatsoff: and yup last budget is around 15k ..
Go for Taranis
which model bro.. and from where i can buy this ??
i have selected two things first one is Radio which is TURNIGY 9XR PRO and sec/ond one is FrSky DJT 2.4ghz combo soo now can i buy both of these. they will be compatible with each other or not ??
They are compatible.
You can go for that combo with out hesitation.
PS. I have turnigy 9xr pro for sale.
The Taranis is probably the best choice. Unlike the 9XR or 9XR Pro you don't need to any mods or use any external cables to get telemetry. It comes with an internal XJT module, allowing you to use the new X-series receivers and you can use another module as well. The build quality is supposed to be better as well.
Nite......u have some one in mumbai have a look here http://www.rcindia.org/for-sale/futaba-t6ex-fasst-tx-with-r6106hf-rx/msg241479/#msg241479
thanks for the info to all bro .. in noon i was really going to buy the turnigy x9r pro and DJT module but now i m thinking for taranis because in real i dont want to messup with my radio like going to flash or any mod and i think X9r pro is for those... i m plug and play type soo want an sleek and comfortable user experience. soo now going to buy that taranis but now the question is from where ?? locally prefered from india from any reputed seller
rcmumbai.com and rcproduct.in has taranis
Well the Taranis is also supposed to have quite a bit of a learning curve. It is really powerful but you have to be willing to adjust a lot of settings, update firmware from your computer etc. From what I have heard, it is definitely not a plug and play solution.
@himadri - bro they didnt have in stock rite now ..
@sk1701 - then bro what should i go for ??? ?? i think x9r pro and djt will be good because i m gonna use it very simply and its in my budget too. can i bind dsm2 or dsmX rx with frsky djt module ????
Currently i think they are the only two places in India selling taranis. And you cannot bind dsmx or dsm2 with djt module. They are 2 different systems!
9xr , taranis have similar firmware, both have same learning curve, but to get started off, u don't need to learn anything much in both txs for 250 multis , as all setting can be done in flight controller. Taranis > 9xr
OK and what about spares availability of both in India ? and moving forward to x9r pro with djt because taranis doesnt have in stock right now neither in rcm nor in rcproduct.in
Bro get a flysky 9ch tx RX Rcmumbai also stocks their RX if u need and RX of this tx is avalaible easily also mods are avavailable if u want to make ur tx more functional such as backlight then installing er9x or other open source firmware also the stock firmware is good for beginners in 9ch tx dnt knw abt taranis BT flysky 9ch is Surely a good tx also if you have a flysky 6ch tx with u u can use it's RX with this tx and may be you can also use trainer mode (not sure abt trainer mode ) my suggestion go with flysky 9ch tx +Djt module it will give u range of 1.5km or so ... All the best
Dear Friend... If you are looking to spend something around Rs 15,000.... then the best bet is a FUTABA T6J or T6K Tr and Rx OR the Hitec Optic 6. Both especially the Hitec one have excellent reputation and are fully programmable with some telemetry. You may check the details on the Net. I am buying one from the Sharma Models shortly as am planned to be in Jodhpur this month end. You may also liik into these sets as they cost just a shade over 15 grand.
I too am using a FlySky FS t6 and am upgrading. Thereafter will be selling off my FlySky FS T6 in Dec this year. Have used it for just over a year.
Best Wishes
For higher end radios FUTABA/SANWA[Airotonics]/HITECH/KPROP .
Well yes.... I purchased a HITEC Aurora 9 recently but it did not work after the first charge. i.e. withing 2 days of receiving the set. I have returned it to the seller as per his instructions and for the past week he has been trying to check what is wrong with the set..... as of now he has promised to refund my money... waiting for the refund and someone to sell me a good set.
I'm selling my Hitec Optic 6, as I just got a new Taranis X9D+
