Post by: ravi.joshi53 on February 10, 2012, 11:41:21 PM
Hi,
I am a beginner. I want to know about the best simulator. Currently i am using Real Flight G5 simulator for practice purpose. Is there any better option available ???
Thank you.

In my opinion you have the best one for planes. I have tried phoenix, aerofly, reflex, clearview sims too, but g5 feels more realistic plus you can add lots of planes and sites from knifeedge forum swappages to g5

Real Flight G5 is a good one and gives a very realistic look and feel in terms of graphics.

Reflex XTR, though its graphics are not that excellent, the behavior/controls/response is very good (almost like real).

Again, this is just an person to person opinion.

:hatsoff:

visually maybe g5 and xtr is good but on performance akin to the real one my vote is for aerofly

For Planes only Real Flight G5, another option is just get the multi switch Dongle from RCbazaar which comes with all other softwares  ;)  and try it to get the feel.

It's out of stock buddy.

I also need one and check RCBazaar daily for stock availability.

we have the 9-1 in stock in ample quantity but we had a few concerns from 1 or 2 customers that the G4 is not loading properly so we pulled this product out and wanted to check this (unfortunately we dont get the time to test the same but will do this soon) internally and will put this back online in a couple of day time.

dude just download the torrent file for phoenix from the net and you have a free simulator... works perfectly as long as you have a transmitter with a cable to connect to your comp..
