Hi Divey,
electronically u will not find any difference. basically the diff is in location of connectors. For airplanes it is more convenient to connectors on top of the Rx (FFM), and for Helis it is better to have them at the end (HF) and u now have the HFC also lol. The C is to tell u that it is meant for Carbon fuselages where u get an extended coaxial antenna.
Also BEWARE, HF is a short range Rx meant for indoors, and HF is a mid range Rx which can use upto 50 in span planes and 500 size helis.

Sorry made a typo error
The R6106HF is a short-range Rx for indoors, park flyers and helis up to 450-size. The mid-range R6106HFC can handle up to a 50 span aircraft or 500-size heli, and includes an extended coaxial antenna perfect for carbon-fiber fuselages.

divay,
if u want to change the connector of standard servos to micro connectors, u will have to order the micro connectors and the crimping tool. More importantly, be careful what servos u use, dont exceed the current handling capability of the RS, or u have a distaster waiting to happen, best ot use micro servos which come for this RX
