for tx lipo battery, which "C" rating is the best (2200 amp 3c or 2200 amp 8c)?

You can use either of those two, it hardly makes any difference. Infact a 20C will also do the job well.

Your Tx won't draw over 200-500ma
So C rating that allows 500ma draw is enough. Ie, 1C with a 500mah battery
A 2200mah will easily last 2-3 hours.
A 1000mah 1C lipo is adequate for a day's flying!
Simplest solution is to use an old 1000-1300 mah lipo which is no longer strong enough for motors...

Thanks JKKASTA. Robokits I'll check. Robu am not sure as there is a thread going on for a faulty battery issue from them.

1. 2C discharge capacity should be fine.
2. Check your transmitter compatibility for 2/3 cell Lipo or Life packs and full charge voltage. (example Lipo 3cell has 12.6volts output fully charged)
3. Check transmitter compatibility for Low voltage beep/cutoff setting with Lipo/Life pack cutoff.
4. Never under any conditions try to charge a Lipo/Life pack from the transmitters charging jack/port. All ways charge you transmitter battery pack out side.

2200 amp 3 c

Perhaps you meant 2200mah 3C, and not 2200amps 3C...

Wondering what is the basis of this recommendation.
Since only 0.1-0.2C will be drawn, why 3c?
And the capacity will power the Tx for about 10 hours...
Is this really needed?

Edit:
Just saw the original query again
"Which is best for tx, 2200mah 3c or 2200mah 8c?"
So your answer is correct between the two options.

The problem is that these options are far from the requirements...
