I need to buy a TX & RX which one do you suggest from the below for 450 heli. Also if you know any other brand that good for the price of the ones listed below. Kindly suggest

  • 1) Turnigy 9X 9Ch Transmitter w/ Module & 8ch Receiver (Mode 2) (v2 Firmware) say $53 probably  300K

  • 2) Avionic RCB7X (7ch tx with 7ch rx and wireless simulator) RCB price

  • 3) FS-TH9X 9ch 2.4GHz transmitter & receiver RCB price

lol! i had the same issue! these were my exact choices!!! if your willing to take the risk, then you can order the turnigy 9x(from HK i assume), or you can buy the fsth9x from RCbazaar.... Please note, the fsth9x and the turnigy 9x are one and the same thing.....
the only advantage the rcb7x has is the rc sim....and that's more of a novelty...

the turnigy 9x has a better firmware, but you cant change the module on it....
the fsth9x has a crappy firmware, but the module is interchangeable...also, you can flash the er9x firmware on both.....
you can get a sim working with both, using a 3.5 mm "AUX" cable.... also called a male to male cable...

i have my transmitter working fine with phoenix RC...

P.S.:- i have a FSth9x from RCB....

hope it helps :)

according to me rcb7x because interface kind of similar to dx7, the sticks and knobs are pretty good, the annoying things is to pull out the receiver from my heli every time i switch to sim. So need a second receiver for purpose. So far no issue with this transmitter.
Planes are like feel-good buddy movies and helis are like horror films... you just have to like being scared!

yeah but their is a larger user base for fsth9x and turnigy 9x.....

FS9x is better. But 9x is better than these. You can get support for it easily because its very famous radio out there.
Good luck!

Hey Avesh,

You can extend the USB interface wire length by adding a couple of servo extension wires, this way you will not have to remove the receiver everytime.
Helis and Quads ROCK !!
