Dear All,

Today I was setting up the electronics in my plane. But to my surprise i got to know that two channels of the transmitter (throttle 3 & elevator 2) got inter changed.

Initially I thought that it can be a problem with the Rx, thus I checked with the other receiver also ,but the same thing happened with the other Rx.

It is basically a futaba 6eax Tx which have been converted to 2.4 using an assan hack with a two way switch to shift from 72 to 2.4.

Rx used to check was Assan 6ch & turborix 72mhz.

kindly let me know, what all I can do to get it rectified.

Check mode.
See page 18 of manual
http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/6exa-manual-v1_1.pdf
May have got changed from mode2 to mode1
Hope this helps.

Sir,
Yes i have changed the tx from mode 1 to mode 2 by changing the rachet spring. But i did it some what 4 years ago and every thing was fine.

Now the issue is , when i plug the bec output from esc to channel 3 of rx ,the channel 2 or the elevator channel of tx corresponds to the inputs.

Also sir as far as i know the throttle will always be on channel no 3 of rx irrespective of mode 1 or 2 of tx.
Kindly correct if i am wrong.

Please check the mode selection showing in the Tx display. This may have got changed accidentally.
Here is the relevant portion from the manual:

Changing the 6EXA stick mode
The transmitter may be operated in four different stick "modes" (1, 2, 3 & 4). The modes determine the functions that will be operated by control sticks. Currently, the transmitter is in "mode 2" and should be left in mode 2 unless you are an experienced flyer and have learned to fly in a different mode. In mode 2, the right control stick operates the aileron and elevator and the left stick operates the rudder and throttle. This is how 99% of Americans fly their models.
To change the mode, simultaneously depress the MODE and SELECT keys, then turn on the power. The current mode will appear on the LCD screen. Push the DATA INPUT lever up or down to change the mode. If a mode is selected that moves the throttle control to the right stick, the throttle detent mechanism will have to be moved as well. This can be done by the Futaba Service Center. (See page 2)
