Windows Movie Maker works fine for such tasks, and it allows you to reduce the resolution for easier upload to Youtube : http://explore.live.com/windows-live-movie-maker?os=other
On a Mac, iMovie that comes with the base OS X works great too !
Yea I used the movie maker..
Thanks for the link downloading it..
GREAT NIGHT FLYING... {:)}
Please upload videos of landing if you have recorded it.
{:)} {:)} {:)}
Nicee....They look like fireflies..
Thanks Guys.
It was too dark to capture a landing video RC. :)
Hey Atul, great stuff man. Could you please ellaborate on your LED/battery set-up and how much weight did it add to the crafts? Would love to do one of mine too!
Hi Manav,
Thanks man..The LED strips have hardly any weight, almost weightless..You can get these strips in budhwar peth opp. to trio electronic store.
Will put up a pic of the connector to the esc and the led strip.
Cost - 130rs per meter.
130 :Rs: /meter??? Those strips cost 250 :Rs: /foot in Goa!! Is anybody willing to ship a few metres of LEDs to me?
60 Leds/Meter. In Kolkata it's 120-150 depending on color. You can power up directly using 3S LiPO Cell. But the current constant drain = No of LED x 0.02 A.
For a 1m Strip, 1.2A Constant current will be taken.
You may use 120mA 8mm Dia white superbright LED that lighten up your entire plane too. At least 2-4 led will lighten up your entire plane and body colors will visible like a charm. Costing will be :Rs: 5 to :Rs: 8.

Thanks
I am sure you must be singing in your mind... "you will not believe your eyes , if 10 million fireflies, lid up the world as I fell asleep"... super show...!!!
Wow, looks cool. {:)}
Great Going guys :thumbsup:

Hi Manav, those self sticking led strips hardly weigh anything. U can cut them to any size as long as the circuit is left unharmed !
m
Make a connection on the battery side of the ESC, .i.e solder extra wires to that side with a connector which will b hooked to the LEDs and thats it...
cheers.
I guess this is the reason why UFO sighting occur---
Planes with LED's
This weekends night flying was even better with ten slow sticks, so glad i didn't miss it this time. See for yourself :)
