Aeromodelling meet as well as competitions are going to be held in Scorpio Club, Lucknow on 18 and 19 June 2011. The club having its own aero sports ground and providing all assistance like free accommodation and food for all participating R/c flyers. The competitions are R/C glider and power model competitions. The prize are Rs. 5000/- and Rs. 3000/- for glider and Rs. 15000/- and Rs. 10000/- for power competitions. The rules are as under:-

I am still a beginner, no flying experience, so cant participate, i just want to visit the competition..  

There is no free entry at scorpio club

i guess this is the same pattern for NCC aeromodelling competitions (BEGINNER LEVEL)

you could have some thing like BALLOON BURSTING, LIMBO FLYING, INVERTED LIMBO, DOG FIGHTS etc.!

please edit : > in the glider competition section " .15cc should be replaced by 2.5cc or .15ci"

"roll on top" is not a maneuver but a locally called for "IMMELMANN TURN" ( specially by NCC AMIs)

Hi guys, it was a great day at the beautiful flying ground here in Lucknow! 
Today was the first day of this event! All went just great!
It was so nice to meet people coming from different places!!! It was good for some but not for all, 3 or 4 nitro planes were crashed, there was one nice big nitro plane which was shattered into pieces.. I feel pity for that damage. But never mind, it happens!
I will post a nice video soon!

Hey guys- I won the FIRST prize in glider/AS competition today!!!!
It was a great day- won the bucks too!
WOW, more than winning, I have collected beautiful memories and met some really great people!
It was really awesome! Will always cherish!
Guys if anyone needs any help regarding planes, just tell me, I'll help you the best possible and help you make nice models!

Congrats and do post some pics if u can. I will post my pics tomorrow or day after alongwith media coverage. I cudn't participate as i had some misfortune with my plane but enjoyed a lot. a very well organized event.

We let them organize at their level as main organizer Ravi is Regional Secretary for Lucknow Chapter. Also Mr. Nagar, President AMAI distributed the prizes so we can conclude we did what we had to do not hogging the limelight.

Is this about the Lucknow meet ?  Then we should merge the above post into that thread. 

A translation would also be good, for anyone challenged in Rashtra bhasha (probably none from India, but there are still international members here).
