Would love to attend such events... (have to wait for 2-3 years until I stand up on my own...)

The best part for me would be meeting Big guns of this Hobby....! Stars of RC in India...  :salute:

Thanks for the heads up... meant for the 2013 version...
Whoever's in Shillong, please PM me. I have my late '70s and 1980's-vintage analog (jittery) Futaba RC gear in Nongrim Hills gathering dust. Need them to fly. The Tx is rock solid with appropriate crystals.

Are you serious sir? or are you joking?
If that is just a part of your hangar your hangar sure is quite huge

This year it was without us, Sandy & I. i believe one aeromodellor was flown in from hinterland, he took off and crashed just missing the crowd, effects of high altitude and low speed at take off i guess. there went a 50 CC high winger. Su-30 and Helicopters and Akash Ganga team enthralled the public. here is the news snippet

Pity Gusty, miss the good old days. How quickly they pass. Wish we could roll back to  2011 all over again.

I came to know two days after. My mistake should have taken initiative after hearing rehearsal fly past of SU - 30.

i agree VC, Varsha & I, we miss shillong so very much, there was not a day that went by without me flying. here it has been like only 3 days in 4months. there was not a sunday, most of the times even weekdays sandy and i haven't built anything, flown something or discussed on possibilities, brainsroming. "Those were the days my love". i am all schmaltzed up, as we speak

you should have sandy, i heard the imported stuff was "all gas and no kick", he even forbade the real ones from performing, can you believe that, eventually ending up in a crash
