It was a great experience!


I tried to shoot some videos with my first Quadrotor prototype. Kindly forgive me for not setting the date and time in my camera. I will have to fine tune my gains too :)
1) Hexa-650 KK 2.02
2) Quad x-450 Multi Wii-Pro + MTK GPS
3) Arducopter Hexa-B APM 2.6 + Ublox Lea-6
4) Coaxial 8 rotors 15x5.5 - 4Kg payload - WKM / APM 2.6
5) Platypus x-650 -33mins Endurance APM 2.6 - 3Km range (Modified Tx 2000mw)+ FPV
6) Build for a friend Skyjib-8 Octocopter + Photohigher Gimbal (5s X2 10000mah,14" Props, YS-X6 flight controller) 3kg payload 5D Mark III Endurance only 3-6 minutes
7) Building Hexa-Copter 5D Mark3 payload (WKM/ APM)

My video of the quad was also like this, ripples of the water surface. Now after making the motor mount firm and balancing the props and motor it is now rock solid video with HK HD video cam II coupled with a live down link through 5.8 Ghz.

You may need to balance the props and motor from vibrations.

Thanks Mr.Sundaram! I will try to balance the props, I crashed several times and nothing is perfect now :(. I will have to change the motor shafts and the prop holders too. Did you use 3 Blade props? I get better stability with it. Any comments on it?

@ganeshram.  I am using only two blade 10x4.5 I find it to be more efficient.

If the shaft is bent or there is oscillations in the plane of rotation of the props, yes it it bound to give too much oscillation to the flight controller board as well as the camera.
