Indian Radio Control Racers' Association (IRCRA) & RCFFI together brings you the Championship Car Race at Pitstop Racing, J.P. Nagar, Bangalore.

Day 1 - Practice and Qualifying sessions     Date: 30th October 2010, Saturday

•   Onsite Registration
•   The race is open to Nitro Powered and Electric Powered classes of vehicles
•   Drivers using AM & FM Band frequency must deposit all Transmitter crystals with the Race Director to avoid frequency interferences.
•   2.4 Ghz radios may be retained by the participants.
•   Fuel can be brought at the location.
•   Qualifying schedule:
  2pm to 3pm – Buggy qualifying
  3pm to 4pm – Truggy qualifying
  4pm to 5pm – Monster Truck qualifying


Day 2: Race Day       Date: 31st October 2010, Sunday


•   9.30am to 10am – Electric open class race (All scales can participate)
•  10:30am to 11am – 1/8 scale Nitro Buggy class (10 minutes Race)
•  11:30am to 12pm –1/8 scale Nitro Truggy class & Stadium Trucks
   (10 minutes race)
•  12:30pm to 1pm – Nitro Monster Trucks, All scales can participate
   (10 minutes race)
•   1:00pm to 2:00pm – Lunch Break
•   2:30pm to 3:00pm - 1/8 scale Nitro Buggy class (10 minutes Race)
•   3:30pm to 4:00pm – 1/8 scale Nitro Truggy class & Stadium Trucks
   (10 minutes race)
•   4:30pm to 5:00pm  - Nitro Monster Trucks, All scales can participate
   (10 minutes race)
•   5:30pm to 6:30pm - Winner Announcement and Prize Distribution.

You will be seeing a huge line up in buggy class, IRCRA team.. If all goes well with the others..

I am myself not too much into RC Cars/Truck and find my pleasure in the air... but I would like to connect with the community and be the part of the event. Can I come just as spectator ? Is there any membership required or any thing that I must have ? Sorry if the questions have been answered already somewhere else... I just could not find them :) Please be kind to a new forum user.

I think there might be a fee,but I am not sure.

No fee for spectators.. Feel free to join us.. Come on Sunday to watch the race. Starts from 10 am onwards..

Those are just pics by Mr. Aravind of Rotor Sport. Need some videos though..

I had a good time racing at this event. But the way in which they classify driver positions should be changed.

For eg murli finished almost 80% of the lap (lap 16) in the Truggy category when the time was over, but Biju managed to start that same lap (lap 16) before the time ended. Even though murli was clearly ahead they both were still classified as first place and then there was a tie breaker.

The same thing happened in the buggy race with me. Anyway im sure it will be taken care of next time. had a good time none the less.

Race was controlled by Suresh of Pitstop, can say much there. I know RCINC's race in Nove and the IRCRA Chennai's track inaugural race in Jan will be more organised..

Unless we have timing systems, such issues will continue to occur. Hope Aravind can get that timing system for us.

We already have AMB Rc timing equipment for the RCINC. Please let aravind know that there is no point buying the lower end systems as most of them dont work too well. The AMB works like a charm and is really easy to setup. Make sure he gets that one.
