What are the rules for multirotor challenge? and when is the event.
Dates are 18th. to 20th. Oct 2013,Rules will be updated on our website, any suggestions?
Ya, make a obstacle passage, and let the pilot drive the multirotor though that.
Last year made them fly under the banner and back over it ,is weight lifting a good idea?what all can a multi rotor do?
well. my scratchbuilt hexacopter cant lift even 500grams. It was a cheap and huge build.
also, if someone gets a s800, he wins. so I dont think its convenient.
One octa lifted 8Kgs.!Last year
Woah. Who made that lifter? Ramesh sir?
yes
The "young Achievers" have been given Rs.5000.0 cheque,Certificate,Momento.one year complimentary membership of AMA,We will select five every year to encourage young fliers-school/college students-depending on their performance level, recommendations, which will be evaluated. The youngest Aditya Pawar has been recommendated for inclusion in the Limca book of Records.
AMA,promotes, supports, encourages Aeromodeling at all levels all over India. We are sponsored by Boeing/Cessna/Industry/Business/members and enthusiasts of aeromodeling from all over India.
The "Young Achievers Award" is presented jointly by AMA and Aero Sports,Thrissur.
We Have recommended Aditya Pawar to be included in the Limca book of Records, early on we had recommended Rajesh Joshi for designing ,building and flying the largest single engine model aircraft, which was accepted by them and he was included. We hope Aditya Pawar is also accepted for inclusion, which is very deserving for the young flyer.
With the active support of Pune aeromodelers,AMA proposes a trophy in the memory of Late Mr.Ashok Bhole,NCC AMI of Pune.

The subject meet was successfully conducted under the aegis of Aero club of India with participants from abroad(Israel,UAE and Switzerland)and from Mumbai, Bangalore,Nagpur,Indore,Delhi NCR,UP,Punjab etc, with Jets,Helicopters,Prop planes 50 CC and above and below, gliders,Multicopters, electric foamy,FPV etc .

Some pictures and press reports are attached.
Trophies by RC Dhamaka(Bangalore),prizes/certificates by AMA and giveaways by Boeing were given to participants and winners.
In view of the growing popularity and international/Domestic participants, the AMA should be included in the register of FAI as the prime body of Aeromodeling in India and the event should be listed in the events calendar of FAI.
We hope to send some participants for the F3A competition of FAI under the aegis of ACI in future, where India is not represented so far.
We are co-partners in Aeromodelling with FICCI for the India-Aviation 2014 to be held at Hyderabad in March 2014.
With the support of ACI and our sponsors,we have been able to provide international and national recognition of this educative aerosport and would like to put India on the International map by participating in FAI competitions.
One of the Golden moments of the event was when Jamal(UAE) kissed the runway with the Jet!
