2 days since the meet ended, and nearly every minute of the day has been spent thinking about the great time all of us had at Surat. The ambiance, the great flying, the warm atmosphere and the absolutely lovely people, in fact the whole experience has been out of this world.

I feel the one thing that was lacking was the fact that efforts put in by the whole team were not appreciated to the full extent.
Biren, a wonderful host, a great organizer, a philanthropist, a warm hearted person and an a gorgeous flyer, thank you for being the human being that u are.

Team HFAA and all the flyer from Surat, you guys rock. Monty, Chintan, AP, and the whole lot.

Nihar and his whole team of event managers, was there anything that the whole lot of u could not take care of. Great execution of the plan and there was nothing these guys could not do.

Wasi..... what to say about this big guy....... right from the inception of the meet up to the last he was very much in the forefront, with the rest of the guys.

Sanjeev and Kartik and the whole RCDhamaka team, thank you guys for being the gracious sponsors for the trophies. Team RCD proposed to sponsor the trophies on their own account without having to be asked for. Beautiful trophies guys. Thank you.

I know, there would have been no one, who was not treated like a "King" while in Surat.

I know I have missed a lot of people who made this event a grand success, and for that please forgive me. Thank you one and all for giving us memories that would stay with us for a lifetime.

Best wishes to all. Hope to be in Surat again soon.

I absolutely have to agree with doc on this. Absolutely fantastic hospitality by Biren and his crew and everyone behind the scene. it was great. was a bit sad to see a few great flyers to be missing. but they will surely be there the next time.

Another thing I would like to put out there is a comment by Ali on facebook on the following photograph and i quote....

"One of the highlights of an amazing trip. I have flown with even more people than this in the past, but never had as much fun doing it! I still smile when I see this photo and think of that flight :)"
(Ali Machinchy)

a world class flyer of this class giving such a high valued comment must mean something.
surat meet was great fun and i really want to see this event grow in the following years. but again i hope it will stay as friendly and simple as it was this time.    :hatsoff:
