Anna  University : MIT Campus , Aero Club  have  launched a SPAD work shop for college students as a part of their effort to promote aero Modeling  among students in general and engineering students in particular .

MIT Campus Anna University  is the Alma Matter of former President Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam .

It would be a 2 day event  that will be held at their institute premises  and certificates shall be given by the Aero Club of MIT Madras Anna University.
The cost of the workshop includes a  full RTF Mr MOSS which the students will take back with them  to continue flying .Their idea is to  encourage students , depending on the response the intention of MIT is to make this a periodic event

Accommodation can be provided at MIT Hostel for the duration of the workshop for outstation candidates .

Is the workshop open only to college students or to the general public as well?

Check with Dr Senthil Kumar  either by calling him or emailing him .
I don't think it will be restricted to only students though the primary focus group is students .

BTW  some inside info.
The workshop is  going to be conducted by  Saju   .
So you can expect some very high quality technical inputs  like Power set up selection tips , Theory of flight etc .
