Hello

Nice to know about a wonderful competition.

Could you please let us know how would you take care of safety? In case, the flyer is unable to get video signals, what is the safety? We believe, the guideline for safe procurement and landing is needed. What would be the responsibility of organizer in such cases?

Would you be involving the insurance companies to take care of damages? Have you thought of the permissions, if any?

Good luck.

Any suggestions ,would you like to partipate?

How about channel allocation for the video Transmission.

I would consider advance booking for particular channel in case of participating, to enable required correct antenna tuning and to avoid interference.

Any suggestions on the frequency for Video channel allocation?

i would really like to take part in it , may be just for fun only ,but the entry fee is bit expensive ,although idea is very good , may be first time i have heard of some thing like that

flytrack

The entry fee is not final and may be reduced and accordingly also the prize money.
This new  category is being added for those who have an appetite for use of advanced technology in the FPV and related fields and the ability to design and build a special purpose vehicle to carry the necessary payloads for autopilots, cameras,GPS,Video transmitters and waypoint navigation. There are wide application for this equipment to be used for aerial surveys, forest conservation, archtecture etc. This intended to increase their knowledge of the current equipment and their application as well to encourage them to stay ahead with the development in this upcoming and challenging field.

vineet

reduce the entry fee = more contestants = high prize money = more fun

Any suggestions on the frequency for Video channel allocation?

band can be anything from 900/ 1.2 Ghz/ 5.8 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz may be excluded since that has been decided as being the control spectrum for many.

Within the band the flyer can pre-allocate a specific frequency or a pair of frequency for Video transmission.

flytrack

yes 2.4 Ghz is excluded for Video, details of this category and others will be posted on our website:-www.amai.in under Events and updated as required.Intending participants may view the same.
