Hi,

I am a US Perm resident visiting India (Hyderabad) next month. I bought a dji phantom 2 plus drone recently and would like to get that to India and get it back.
I see a news that DGCA banned flying of any type of drones in India. Will custom allow this to India along with me? Or can cease it? Please advice.

Regards
Venkat

Though its not advisible but if you want to try your luck then you can but you have to carry it on your lap through out the flight , I think international flight won't cause problem but domestic flights are positevly riskey! Indian customs needs reformation ,Till than its a risk !

Isn't it other way around? Domestic Air travel has no such Harsh restrictions or customs Hassle dude.

Or did you mean Flights of Air India, and other International carriers ??
