Hi All,
I have been purchasing many hobby items from abroad for the past 1 year.
2 times I have imported thru FEDEX and their service has been not satisfying, importantly both the times I was charged customs duty of 1500 on each import. The items were sevos.
7 times till date I have imported hobby items like servos, heli parts, electronics from Singapore Hobby thru DHL, I have never been charged any duty. The service of Singapore Hobby is amazing. They are also available on phone for any assistance.
EMS - I have only used once and their service is also OK.
Please think twice before importing any item thru FEDEX, I bet you will be charged duty.
Hope this will surely help someone in this forum.
Thanks
Arun
