Title: CAUTION: Broken props
Post by: K K Iyer on December 21, 2014, 11:04:00 PM
All newcomers,
Please AVOID trying to repair and reuse broken props.
NOT WORTH THE RISK.

A new 7x3.5 plastic prop on a D2826 2200kv and 3s will BLOW APART on opening the throttle full

(This is in response to comments in a recent thread)

With respect to all in this forum,
I have already said what I tried is risky, and why I did so is because, it will take a long time for me in my place to get replacement props, so this was the only way ahead of me :)

SO AVOID TRYING TO MEND BROKEN PROPS (And pls forget what I said)

Their are props available in local hobby stores rather then waiting and trying hazardous experiments
Imagine the prop breaks while dry run and flys right into your eye !!!!!
Saving a few bucks wont get you what you need to replace

Its better to wait for few more days n get the parcel rather than never to fly.
